Mental space away from work & screns
A place where notifications fade into the background and your own rhythm returns. No rules — just fewer interruptions.
Live among locals

Explore local places
Quiet forest paths, cycling routes, calm water spots — places we share personally, not from online lists. Always at your own pace.
Retezat83 is not a resort and not a busy activity base. It’s a small, adults-only retreat created for people who want to slow down, spend time outdoors, and feel part of a real place. Here, days are unhurried. You decide when to explore, when to rest, and when to do nothing at all.
Two tiny homes. One quiet rhythm.
Living small, feeling wild
Two tiny homes. One quiet rhythm.
No schedules. No must-do lists.
Mornings start when you wake up. Days unfold outside — in the garden, on mountain quiet paths, or in the village. Evenings are for slowing down again.
We’re nestled in one of Romania’s most stunning regions—at the Gates of Transylvania, in Rau De Mori, right at the foothills of the Retezat Mountains.
Every season brings its own charm, making it a wonderful escape throughout the year.
