Retezat83 is not a resort and not a busy activity base. It’s a small, adults-only retreat created for people who want to slow down, spend time outdoors, and feel part of a real place. Here, days are unhurried. You decide when to explore, when to rest, and when to do nothing at all.

We’re nestled in one of Romania’s most stunning regions—at the Gates of Transylvania, in Rau De Mori, right at the foothills of the Retezat Mountains.
Every season brings its own charm, making it a wonderful escape throughout the year.
- 2-3 nights – to slow down, sleep deeply, reconnect
- 4-5 night – to settle into a rhythm and explore gently
- 7 nights or more – to truly live here for a while
